Vrisnik

Vrisnik is a picturesque little village that was built on the slope of a hill of the island's main ridge. Its name comes from "vrijes" (heather). It is also interesting from the ethnographical point of view, especially the architectural group of Bojanic houses, connected with small bridges and arches.

The parish church of Sv. Antun Opat (St. Anthony the Abbot) with an alley of cypresses, the little churches of Sv. Roko and Sv. Dorotea (St. Dorothy), are worth mentioning.
